Light coffee with notes of dried fruits, nut paste and pears

The plantation is located in the very center of Costa Rica, in a place with a unique microclimate and the right balance of sunlight, moisture and temperature. Coffee grows at an altitude of 1400 to 2000 meters on volcanic soil.

Coffee plantations are located mainly on fertile soils of volcanic origin, but some of the coffee territories are located on young, clay-rich and having a naturally renewed chernozem layer capable of retaining moisture soils.

There are 8 main coffee regions in Costa Rica. The main one today is Terraz, it gives about 33% of coffee. In Terrazu, coffee plantations are located on the slopes of the highest mountains in the country and in small valleys, at an altitude of 1200 to 1700 meters above sea level, on acidic soils of sedimentary origin. The plantations, with a total area of 22 hectares, are shaded by plants of the banana and legume family.

How to store?

In branded, tightly closed packaging at room temperature. Avoid contact with light, heat and moisture. Short-term storage in a glass or ceramic jar with a tightly closed lid is allowed. Sealed (unopened) packaging is recommended to be stored in the freezer at a temperature of -18℃

Do not store coffee in the refrigerator: low cooling temperature, foreign odors and possible condensation will quickly spoil the coffee!
