Detailed description

Brazil Sul de Minas coffee is grown at an altitude of 850 to 1100 m above sea level, in the region of the same name, located in the southern part of the state of Minas Gerais. A rich but soft drink of high quality is prepared both at home and in cafes and restaurants. It is well suited for brewing in a carob and geyser coffee maker, as well as in a French press.

Brazil is the largest producer of coffee in the world, almost 50% of all Arabica is grown here. The first coffee seedlings were brought to the country at the beginning of the XVIII century. Almost immediately it became clear that the local hot and humid climate and vast plateaus are ideal for this plant.

Most of the Brazilian coffee plantations belong to concerns, but there are also family enterprises, so the coffee harvest in Brazil is harvested not only industrially, but also manually. The berries collected in the period from June to October are dried under the sun for about a month, shelled and sorted by size.

The high quality of coffee of this variety is confirmed by the trademark of the Brazilian Coffee Association (BSCA - Brazil Specialty Coffee Association), whose goal, since 1991, has been the technical improvement of the production and commercialization of coffee, the preservation of the environment and the development of quality control methods.

How to store?

In branded, tightly closed packaging at room temperature. Avoid contact with light, heat and moisture. Short-term storage in a glass or ceramic jar with a tightly closed lid is allowed. Sealed (unopened) packaging is recommended to be stored in the freezer at a temperature of -18℃

Do not store coffee in the refrigerator: low cooling temperature, foreign odors and possible condensation will quickly spoil the coffee!
